“ Food: 4 stars. Offers a good variety of pastries and desserts. The chocolate almond croissant was good - good almond flavor with a chunky chocolate chip spread. They also sell macarons. While the flavors aren't amazing, they are decently sized with a good amount of filling. This used to be my go to place for macarons until Lady Yum came into the picture. But if you're at Pike Market, this is a good alternative to LY. Service: 5 stars. All staff were friendly and efficient. Environment: 4.5 stars. Been coming here for well over a decade, and it is still as clean as my first visit there. There isn't a lot of seating, but probably one of the bigger places in Pike Market. Value: 3.5 - 4 stars. Like everything these days, inflation makes for terrible value. Two chocolate croissants, two macarons, and a small baguette ran nearly $20. The pastries will run a bit more than say Starbucks pastries, but they'll taste a ton better. ”

“ Oh my god! This place has amazing macarons. I was surprised that there was no line. I was greeted by their staff immediately after I went inside the shop. I got 2 different kinds of crossaint and most importantly macaron. I got all the flavors and the best flavor is definitely vanilla. Crispy outside with filling that is not too sweet. It comes with a cute box. The price is definitely on the higher side but I mean...this location is at Pike Market so everything is tourist price. Will definitely return to try their Kouign Aman. Unfortunately they ran out on the day I visited. ”

“ I come here all the time, mostly for their macarons and baguette sandwiches. This Monday at 8:30am, I sat down with a chocolate croissant and Americano. Service was friendly and attentive, coffee was perfectly made, croissant's chocolate was so good, but, surprisingly, the dough was a bit tough and greasy. I think it was the generous amount of butter they used and let it cool on the sheet a bit too long. Don't get me wrong. This won't stop me from coming. But that lost them a star. ”

“ One of my favorite spots in Pike Place! La Panier, established since 1983, is one of the most visited eateries in the area. They specialize in French pastries, bread, cakes, cookies, macarons, and coffee. [Ambiance] quaint, bustling with tons of visitors and the Parisian-style decor adds a touch of warmth and charm to the bakery. Just as we anticipated, there was a line going out of the door when we arrived. As we patiently waited, it was great to see that the bakery was jam-packed with tons of people from all over the world (everyone was speaking a different language). There were so many tempting options to choose from, but here's what I tried: * Almond Croissant - Divine!! This was so good that it still haunts my tastebuds. I had it twice, and the second time, it was fresh out of the oven -- still warm! * Kouign Aman (caramelized croissant) - It was tasty, but the almond croissant was better. The seating options are limited and fills up quickly, so we grabbed our pastries and found a cozy spot across the street to enjoy them. Overall: 5-stars! La Panier definitely lives up to its reputation. ”

“ Came here when going to Pike's Place Market and waited a bit, but not horribly long. I am so happy we came here! Everything was amazing. The painier is delicious and the macarons were amazing- probably the best I've ever had. I wish I had gotten a coffee, but was caffeinated out at the time, so I did not. I'll definitely have to grab some the next time I'm at the market (as well as more baked goodies!) ”

“ This spot had quite a line, but it was worth the wait! There were so many pastries to choose from, and I had to hold myself back from grabbing everything. I got a kouign-amann and three macarons (passion fruit, pistachio, and strawberry) for later. The kouign-amann was delicious--crispy and caramelized on the outside with soft, flaky layers inside. The macarons were great too, especially the passion fruit. Definitely a place I'd visit again! ”

“ This is a butter little bakery-coffee house by the Pike Place Market with a line out the door. There is a little bit of seating some of it having out the window to watch people walking by. They have a wall with beautiful-looking loaves of bread, a case with taste and pies, a case with macarons, and a case with croissants and other parties, as well as some grab and go packages of cookies and other goodies. There is also a place to order coffee and juice. The staff was super friendly and sweet. We just got coffee, and it was reallllly good. We had a latte and a cafe mocha. We had been warned by a local, the your guide at the underground tour, to try real Seattle coffee, and to not bother going to Starbucks (not even the original). He likened it to going to Italy and eating at the Olive Garden. We took his advice, and we glad we did. It was delish. No wonder the line was out the for! ”
